Starting school is a very exciting but daunting time for any parent and child.  There are sometimes so many questions!  Here is a useful document from Shropshire council that might answer some including information on how and when to apply for your child's place. 


Children can start school in reception at the beginning of the academic year following their fourth birthday.  
Therefore, children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 can start primary school from September 2024.
